About the role

• Responsible for the construction and maintenance of buildings and general infrastructures on the mine site.
• To ensure that routine inspection and maintenance work is carried out on internal and external infrastructures onsite hence, meeting safety requirements for usage.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Maintenance of instalments, buildings, furniture, and other items.
• Ensure that structures are built in accordance with safety and company standards.
• Routine examination on buildings and structures onsite for any signs of damage, report and rectify timely.
• Prepare Material Lists of resources required to undertake work.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a minimum education to Grade 10 or above and must obtained NATTB certified tradesman certificate in Carpentry and Joinery. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Minimum of 5 years in all facets of residential construction and industrial environment.
• Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, and specifications.
• Mathematical and analytical skills.

• Able to work with minimum supervision.
