SUPERVISOR TRUCKS

Based in Tabubil and reporting to the Superintendent Workshop Trucks, you will be responsible for providing senior-level leadership and coordination of the Truck Equipment Maintenance team.

Your role will involve:

  • Leading and coordinating the Truck Equipment Maintenance Team, ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintenance procedures;
  • Developing and supporting cost-effective maintenance strategies, actively participating in reliability improvement initiatives;
  • Monitoring contractor activities to ensure compliance with OTML policies and completion to required standards;
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, training requirements, and inspections;
  • Overseeing the use of SAP/MIMS or Ellipse maintenance modules, ensuring accurate data entry and analysis;
  • Reviewing maintenance records and stock levels, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments;
  • Contributing to Health and Safety policy reviews and ensure adherence to environmental impact minimization programs;
  • Implementing cost control measures and contribute to budget management within your area of responsibility; and
  • Fostering a culture of safety and high performance within the maintenance team and contractor workforce.

To be considered, you must possess the following: 

  • A Mechanical Trades certificate;
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the maintenance of heavy equipment or truck fleets;
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar position within the mining industry, specifically working on CAT Equipment including 995, 993, 980, 996 Loaders, CAT 773/777, 785, 789 & 793 Haul Trucks, XCMG Haul Trucks, and CAT 995 Wheel Loader;
  • Strong diagnostics and analytical skills with the ability to interpret failures and repairs;
  • Experience with SAP/Ellipse or similar computer-based maintenance systems;
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, maintenance practices, and environmental regulations; and
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
