Your main responsibilities are

  • Execute maintenance tasks, such as: cleaning, inspecting, overhauling and reconditioning engine and auxiliary components.
  • Be an integral part of the maintenance team. Strive to achieve common goals and customer deadlines.
  • Liaise closely with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
  • Ensure that all activities in the plant are carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety standards.
  • Adopt a pleasant, adaptable attitude towards any duties that may be required.

Requirements for the position:

  • Technical Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Capable to read and understand assembly and manufacturing drawings and technical instructions.
  • Experience in assembling mechanical components of diesel engines, separators, compressors and screw pumps.
  • Metrology skills (feeler gauge, bore gauge, depth gauge).
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills.

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Experience in assembling mechanical components of engine and separators are nice to have.
  • Experience in a similar role within Large Diesel engine or marine industry would be a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and knowledge in MS Office.
  • Attention to details and precision in work.
