Based in Tabubil and reporting to the Supervisor Upstream Grind Maintenance, you will be responsible for the ongoing lubrication of static and rotating equipment in the Concentrator and reagent areas, and ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and safety standards.

Your role will involve:

  • Executing lubrication schedules, servicing, and major maintenance to specifications and standards;
  • Maximizing equipment availability by ensuring seamless operation of the processing plant;
  • Performing all lubrication tasks as per the weekly maintenance schedule;
  • Ensuring concentrator and supporting infrastructure operate within agreed guidelines for maximum throughput and cost-effectiveness;
  • Conducting planned maintenance checks and tests according to schedules;
  • Ensuring tasks in the lubrication space meet specifications and task standards; and
  • Complying with all safety rules and regulations.

 To be considered, you must possess the following: 

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Trade test Certification in Mechanical Fitting is an added advantage;
  • Proven experience as a Lubrication Technician or similar role;
  • Technical expertise in equipment lubrication and maintenance;
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Initiative, judgment, and the ability to work independently; and
  • Commitment to upholding company policies, standards, and procedures.
