HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Based in Tabubil and reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner – Tabubil, you will be responsible for providing proactive HR support, implementing HR processes and projects, and ensuring compliance with policies while serving as a conduit for HR services to the assigned Business Units.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing advice and guidance to line management and employees on HR Policies and Procedures;
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives that align with organizational goals;
  • Advising and assisting in grievance procedures, corrective actions, and escalations as needed;
  • Collaborating with the Employee Relations team to address and resolve workplace issues;
  • Maintaining and administering employee benefits, leave, medical, relocation, and repatriation travel;
  • Ensuring good general administration and quality customer services to Tabubil-based employees;
  • Keeping line Managers updated on operational issues and HR related matters; and
  • Observing and complying with OTML’s safety and health policies and practices.

To be considered, you must possess the following: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or Business Management;
  • At least 5 – 7 years’ experience in a similar role in the mining industry;
  • Working knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures with sound understaning of organizational development, change management, and industrial relations;
  • Proficient in the use of MS office Applications, with knowledge of HRIS being an added advantage;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks;
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment; and
  • A strong commitment to upholding company values and contributing to a positive work culture.
