Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and equipment following detailed plans and blueprints. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in various machinery, ensuring minimal downtime. Perform routine maintenance and inspections, identifying potential issues before they escalate. Use precision tools to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machine performance and efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols, significantly reducing workplace accidents. Working towards achieving the company's monthly KPIs and reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineer. Execute weekly/ annual shutdown planned preventive maintenance (PM) . Utilize Maintenance Pro Software to carry out maintenance activities and ordering of spare parts and assisting the Maintenance Planner and the storeman. Attending breakdowns including working at heights and in the Rice Mill to maintain and repair screw conveyors, bucket elevators , augers, belt conveyors, pallet wrappers , vertical form filling seals (VFFS) machines , drag chains , drive motors, sewing machines ,Rotary valves,grain cleaners, aspirators, extraction fans, rice whiteners ( abrasive and friction) and submitting daily shift reports to the Engineering Team. Carry out daily online inspection and report any abnormality and report to the Mechanical Engineer to schedule for maintenance. Machining , welding and Fabricating of parts for all mechanical machines in the Rice Mill which is out of stock and needs replacement inorder for the production running. Assisting the Property Maintenance Team in repair and maintenance of company properties ( Housing). Maintenance on Air Compressors . Participating in root cause analysis. Supervise and assist apprentices to carry out daily tasks. Assisting in installation of new production machinery Asses task , fill job Hazard Analysis (JHA) , Risk Assessment(RA), Rescue Plan (RP) and request permit issuer to grant general permit to work/hot work/confined space/work at heights. Service and maintain fire hydrant and pumps ( diesel engine). Service and maintenance of stand by genset when every run hours is due for service.

Utilize SAP software to carry out maintenance activities and ordering of spare parts. Execute planned preventive maintenance tasks during shutdown opportunities. Carry out daily machine inspections for abnormalities and create notifications for preventive measures where required. Inspection areas; lubrication of chains, gears, motors and bearings. Attending breakdowns and participating in fault-finding activities. Initiate break-down-analysis (BDA) and report problem history and solutions to the factory leadership team. Rebuild and machining of shafts, boring of ID, thread cutting-internal/external, recoiling of threads.
