Summary

As a Batching Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our concrete batching plant. You will ensure the production of high-quality concrete mixes, manage plant personnel, and maintain equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise the batching plant operation, ensuring efficient production.
• Manage plant staff, including operators and laborers.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials (e.g., cement, aggregates, additives).
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries to construction sites.
• Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to meet quality standards.
• Train and mentor new plant employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Grade 10 and 12 or equivalent (technical education preferred).
• Proven experience in concrete batching plant operation.
• Strong knowledge of concrete production processes.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing conditions.
